Description

Against Legions of Specters is a story-rich RPG where the player battles against thousands of monsters in haunted places. Recruit companions to help you and improve their relations to unlock new abilities. Synopsis : A regular man dies and turn into a ghost. When waking up from his tomb, he notices everything has changed. His home turned to ruins, and his family has left. There seem to be no humans left. For how long has he been asleep? Explore this new world, and gather other lost ghosts, to discover what happened, as a black storm full of monsters threatens to destroy everything once and for all.

Features

Contrary to most RPGs, you don't fight a handful of monsters at the same time, but tens of thousands. This number will increase throughout the game, as the dark forces grow in strength.

7 companions to recruit and chose from during missions. Each have their own unique abilities. Earn relationship experience by spending time with your companions and fighting alongside them. Special moves during battles depending on which companions are in the party.

Use skill points to unlock new skills. Each character has a different skill tree. Try different builds.

The game is writen by an experienced writer, with a focus on immersion and atmosphere. Depending on which companion follows you during a mission, the dialogues will be different. Each adventure will be different, allowing for great replayability.

The game has a variety of quests ranging from killing all monsters in an area to just chatting and bonding with your companions.

This game's soundtrack is composed and played by profesionnal musicians.

Beautiful hand-drawn pixel-art that changes depending on in-game seasons.

History

I love short games where the story is the main focus. I've reached an age where I can't afford anymore to play games for hundreds of hours, so I'm looking for short and intense experiences. My favorites games include Undertale, Omori, This War of Mine, The Last fo Us and Life is Strange. All story-based, all great.

I learned to write awesome stories, and I hope to make everyone live immersive and emotionally intense gaming experiences.
